This was so interesting to think about. Even with a graphic illustration, it's hard to comprehend, much as it is astounding to think about billions and trillions of dollars that our government seems to bandy about so flippantly.
Perhaps this illustration could be used to illustrate the amounts our government spends in areas about which we have huge questions.
Our questions and what they spend can be compared to the largest ball representing the sun.
The smallest ball representing the recently demoted Pluto can be compared to the answers we get and the people who benefit from what is spent.
Make sense? No, not really, if you know what I mean.
