Nearly Famous Wannabe

This picture was fun to have on the front page in our local newspaper, making mois "Nearly Famous". Of course, my name is not on the front page but appears on page six in an article which is very similar to the blog I posted last. It is not hard to get recognition on the front page of our thin rag.

There is a conservative talk show host in the Phoenix area who calls himself "the Nearly Famous Barry Young." That's a great turn of words since my goal is to have my artwork in as many places as possible. Posthumously or post humorously there will be those that will say "Yes, I have an original Ellen Simper and I knew her before she became Nearly Famous."

After all is said and done, my most important goal in this life is to return to my Heavenly Father with good report. In the words of Bill Cosby, grandparents are just old people trying to be get into Heaven.
--Planning to see all of you there with your Nearly Famous streams of glory trailing after your Nearly Famous Eternal beings.

What beautiful art you have created! I grew up in Holbrook... I LOVE the montage of the town. I miss it sooo much sometimes. My dad Jack McLaws had the concrete company and a little store called Jack's Place built at the corner just before the McLaws Road turn off. Thank you for sharing with us blog stalkers your wonderful talents. I loved looking at pictures of home tonight.
